Brown discharge 16 weeks pregnant. Help!

I'm after reassurance from others really. Its been really light for 2 days and for 2 days a week ago. I went to maternity assessment yesterday. The doctor had a look at my cervix and said it was closed so it was most likely a haematoma, which the sonographer saw at my 12 week scan.

I can't help feeling worried though. I had a private scan last week and baby is measuring fine. I have been listening to him this morning with my doppler (his heartbeat is twice as fast as mine so I know it's his, plus I have no movements yet).

I just want this brown discharge to go away! Anyone been through similar?

Hello, @bloomety I'm in the same boat as you. I know this an old thread but when did your spotting stop? I was diagnosed with a SCH at 15+1 weeks after a bleed, currently having five days of spotting. Did you go for anymore scans other than the 22 week one?

Yes I had weekly private scans because I was so paranoid. I think I eventually stopped once I got to 15 weeks.

if you are worried go and book a private scan. It’s much better to have peace of mind.
