Help! Hypersalivation during pregnancy

I’m 14+6 and over the last couple of days I seem to have developed a bizarre excess saliva issue. Today has been particularly bad. My mouth is constantly filling with saliva and I’m having to spit out as it’s so overwhelming. It’s been terrible at work today, having to sneakily spit into tissues or run to the toilet and spit in there, it’s been terrible!!
I have had nausea and sickness during the pregnancy so far but it actually feels like it’s easing at the moment.
Has anyone had any experience of this? Or how to help it?

I've had it too throughout pregnancy though it did improve. Nothing helped that much apart from salt and vinegar crisps also super sour jellies and very dry crackers. Also hate it so would welcome any tips!

I've not experienced this is pregnancy but I do suffer from hypersalivation just before I'm about to come down with a cold (no idea why)! It is horrible and makes me feel physically sick but I do find chewing gum helps a bit.

Ughhhh I had this. I had hyperemesis throughout and spent my entire pregnancy doing the exact same, spitting secretly into tissues every 5 seconds.
I found lemon sherbert hard sweets helped me a little. Gave the saliva a nice enough taste to swallow rather than keep spitting Grin

I never thought sour tasting things would be the answer but I’m willing to try anything!

I had hyperemesis and hypersalivation. The nausea and vomiting went eventually but hypersalivation lasted the entire pregnancies. Also survived on dry crackers and craved sour Haribos.
