Raised pi/doppler on scan 35+2.

I'm 35 weeks now, went for a growth scan monday
(previous restricted growth at 37 weeks with dc1)
The sonographer wouldn't do measurements as I had a scan 12 days prior when I had reduced movements.
But she did check blood flow to baby, and apparently it was high.
They've written 1038 and underlined it twice in my notes... I can't find the normal level for this on Google, but twice underlined?!

I'm back Thursday for a scan to check growth, and redo the measurements, depending on that, depends if they'll deliver.

Consultant said it could be a one off abnormal reading, or it could be the start of things tailing off (like with first pregnancy).

Has anyone had any experienced of raised pi/doppler and all been OK?

Preparing myself for an early delivery anyway, probably csection as she's breech!

I had ctg today, and one tomorrow as movements suddenly aren't great either :(

Could it be 1.38 OP? 1038 isn’t a number that would usually refer to dopplers, they’re usually between 0.5-2ish depending on which one. 1.38 would be an abnormal measurement of umbilical artery PI, (UAPI), indicating increased resistance in the placenta - that would go along with a small baby/growth restriction. This together with decreased movements is a little bit concerning, so I’m glad you’re having monitoring and a follow up scan. The consultant is right, sometimes it’s a one off, fingers crossed. In the meantime though don’t hesitate to get checked out if you’re worried about movements - even in between CTG appointments.
Re double underline - I do that too, don’t be alarmed, it’s just a way of highlighting a result that needs attention to make sure it gets seen.
Typically if the dopplers stay as they are delivery would be planned around 37 weeks, but earlier if concerns - such as continuing decreased movements.

Oh and with regard to all being ok - everything usually is ok, baby just sometimes needs to come earlier and if small may need a bit of time in NICU, not of help with feeding etc. not usually a major complication although I know it can be stressful! No personal experience but lots of professional experience :)

Movements still aren't great.
Im due in at 10.40 for ctg but going to ring and see if I can go earlier.

Yesterday I had 3 kicks on the monitor and one lot in the afternoon where I thought she had hiccups.
A little something at 4am.
Usually way more than this!
