Plus size bump

Hi all,

So I'm just wondering if other plus sized women feel the same.
We are currently TTC - not pregnant yet, but I have this irrational fear of never really getting a nice 'bump' I have a bit of an overhang currently, and am currently a size 18/20.
Someone give me a bit of hope? 🤣👀 xx

Hi! I'm on my third pregnancy. I am a size 20 and my weight has yo-yo'd for years so I've got an over hang too.

I'd say I started looking pregnant, rather than just rounder at about 22 weeks with my 2nd child.
However I'm only 15 weeks now and my stomach is starting to get a more rounded shape.

I wore bump covers in my 2nd pregnancy, just to cover where my tshirt didn't reach any more, but they 'held me in' too which gave me an unmistakable baby bump.

Im a 16/18 (more so an 18) and i also have an overhang (i call it a Gunt, i will let you work out why 😂)
2nd pregnancy and i had a clear bump at 12 weeks. Im now 21+3 and look very pregnant xx

I'm a size 22, bmi 45 - I defo have a bump now, although the overhang is visible underneath in tighter clothes! I mainly live in blouse-type maternity tops though which accentuate the bump but not the overhang :)

I never really looked pregnant but I think it’s becuaze I’m tall rather than large! My tummy was hard all over but he came out with a huge lump on his head from where he’d been stuck against my pelvis 🙈

So I think it’s much more than weight, it’s more body shape.

I should also point out that my husband thinks I’m mad and says I was huge 😂

I'm also 18-20 and now 37+4. I have a lovely big bump, which started to properly appear around 30 weeks.

I was a 20-22 before I got pregnant and had a noticeable bump from about 16/17 weeks. Had a lovely massive bump by the end, it didn't look as round undressed but dressed it looked perfect x

I'm a size 18 and almost 29 weeks pregnant now. I also have a bit of an overhang but you can only really notice it when I've got next to nothing on or really tight leggings. I would say I was noticeably pregnant from around 18 weeks, before that I mainly looked bloated but then I got a nice bump and I'm quite pleased with how it's progressing this pic is from last week when I was 28 weeks exactly. Another weird thing I'd say is, honestly I've never felt so comfortable in my own skin. After years of always worrying about looking fat and needing to lose weight, I've just embraced how my body looks and felt more confident than I can remember feeling for years! Strange eh. I'm sure you'll get a lovely bump, embrace it ❤

It made me really conscious with first pregnancy - I never lost my gunt! So I had bump at top and extra droop, it made me sad

Pregnant with No2 no but only 9 weeks. Hoping I'll show more, still a size 20-22 this time round
