*WARNING TMI PICS* think it's my mucus plug!

I think I lost my mucus plug this morning!! Is this what other people's looked like? Definitely think it looks like snot...

does it look like a whole plug or part of one? Not sure how big a whole one would be. (Pictures are of the same plug just different lighting)

How long did it take people to go in labour after having a plug like this?
I'm 38+2 🙂

So I just had my sweep! I'm already 4cm (yesssss! 😆) and the MW said my waters are bulging and basically when they go the baby will be coming! So hopefully really won't be long now 🤞🏻
I was a bit worried this morning as I hadn't had any contractions all night or when I woke up, but since the sweep they have returned and are becoming more frequent so fingers crossed 😬
Going to go for a walk and try and kick things off properly!

@Katnissx that's great news! I've just had my sweep and I'm 1cm. She said out of all the women she's done sweeps on this week I'm the most favourable' so fingers crossed 🤞🏼 xx

Ooh exciting 😬 I have actually now had a couple of (tiny) streaks of bright red blood when wiping but not much else, so will see 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻we are all packed and feeling quite ready so fingers crossed 😊

@nicciw87 haha, not sure I could persuade hubby 🤣 what are the squats meant to do?

Please phone the delivery suite if there is blood even if it's a small amount. I had a few streaks of blood and it turned out to be a antipartum haemorrhage but most of the blood stayed inside. Don't panic but do phone them.

My little lady finally made an appearance in the early hours of yesterday morning 🥰🥳 she is so perfect and very much worth the wait!!

I had contractions on and off following the sweep but again they had stopped at bedtime. I went for a walk, did some squats, persuaded DH to DTD again before bed and and some nipple stimulation for good measure 😅 I woke up around 1am with contractions that were getting stronger and felt a pop sensation low down. I got up and went to the bathroom, thinking it wasn't my waters as I would have just felt a gush on the bed/as I stood up, but as I was walking I felt a trickle down my leg and then it started dripping onto the floor through my pants so I realised it was my waters! Contractions started ramping up and I had a bit of bleeding so we went straight to the hospital. Turns out after all the stop starting, I had dilated very quickly and was ready to push when I was first examined on arrival. She was born about 15 minutes after we entered the unit!
So grateful she is finally here 😊

Thank you so much ladies for all the support and reassurance. Was lovely to hear from people in the same boat. Hope those of you waiting on your babies also have some good news very soon ❤️xxx

I'm sorry to share this because its not what I would've wanted to hear at the time but I was loosing bits of my mucus plug for weeks before birth.
