I'm 4+6 (early days, I know) - but in previous sucessful preganancy I got a scan at 6wks (and 9wks) due to previous mp - have since had mc at 6wks. However, during previous sucessful pregancy, the midwife at local doctor's totally lost my confidence (although nice as a person) - a number of times she said things which were incorrect but which left me (not knowing that it was complete bunkum) in a total panic. In any case, there are no appointments until 1st November with her.

What level of care should I be able to get - and can I choose to opt out of my Doctors for this and go elsewhere - or what?

Any help gratefully received

You can go to a different hospital or perhaps get a different MW at the same hospital. Good luck with this pg.
