Hi all,

I'm super super early in pregnancy (just 4 weeks), but I haven't got any symptoms - I had a bit of nausea the last couple of days, but not so much today. I've got no sore boobs or increased urination - shouldn't the tender boobs/urination have kicked in by now?

When did you first have symptoms? Thank you Smile

Everyone is different. I didn't feel anything for ages, and never really had much going through pregnancy either. But my friend was sick very early on

FTMF30 · 28/11/2020 21:16

I felt a bit bloated from about 5 weeks but that was it. I'm pregnant woth my scond (6weeks and feel nothing)

@londongirl12 is your DC a boy or a girl? And is your friend's DC a boy or a girl? There's that theory that girls bring on much more symptoms than boys.

pronxcessxo · 28/11/2020 21:21

i could feel something was up at about 3/4 weeks- teary and irritable and my boobs feeling heavy and sore- but nausea, weird sense of smell etc not until 6-8 weeks

JLM1008 · 28/11/2020 21:23

My biggest kick up in symptoms was from around 6 weeks - nausea, migraines, extreme tiredness.

Nat4392 · 28/11/2020 21:25

Didn’t feel too different right away but the nausea kicked in around 5.5 weeks

mummytonicekidz · 28/11/2020 21:29

Started around 3-4 weeks

AllChange2020 · 28/11/2020 21:44

Nausea started at 6 weeks (and lasted until 17 weeks). Never got sore boobs at all throughout my pregnancy and didn't start peeing more until third trimester. I didn't have any symptoms at all at 4 weeks.

I’m 5 weeks today and have got sore boobs and feeling really tired, I’m also super bloated and constipated but I’m taking progesterone pessaries so that could be a symptom of them too. I haven’t had any sickness at all 🤞🏽 After 3 miscarriages I really wish I was feeling more pregnant just for a bit of reassurance. Everyone is different though and every pregnancy is different too 💗
Congratulations! X

Both boys. She felt sick, loads of kicks, bracton hicks, everything. I had a super lazy boy, had to be dragged out!! Apart from bad pelvic pain, I barely felt pregnant
plixy · 28/11/2020 22:16

6 days after ovulation. I felt ill and knew I was pregnant. Continued to feel sick for the full 9 months.
Other symptoms kicked in around 4 weeks but didn't last as long.

About 6 weeks which I think is average

luxxlisbon · 28/11/2020 22:20

For me sore boobs and dizziness/ feeling feverish and faint were my first symptoms and they came on at 3 weeks. My positive test was about 3 and a half weeks. Other than that I didn’t really start to feel nauseous until about 6. The sore boobs have mostly gone but I have had cramping all the way through.

FTMF30 · 28/11/2020 22:23

@londongirl12 Aah that quashes that theory then!

HappyDaze90 · 29/11/2020 08:58

I was an emotional wreck with the sorest boobs at about 5 weeks. I didn’t think much of it (just figured it was my period coming) until I was on a long drive home from work and just started crying uncontrollably at something on the radio. Went straight to the shop and bought a test.

After I got my positive it was like my body had the go ahead, I was nauseous constantly, peeing every half hour even if I hadn’t drank anything and don’t even get me started on the mood swings 😂

1sttimemumtobe2021 · 29/11/2020 09:28

I was bloated at around 5 weeks but nothing really obvious. Thought I may have got away with the sickness.

Then at 8/9 weeks, I was knocked out with severe morning sickness. Those symptoms stuck for around 6 weeks then (in bed for around a month, tried to wfh (office bed) for some of it, but signed off for around 2.5 weeks - I should have asked for longer beforehand) and during that period I happened to have pretty much every pregnancy symptom going! There are more symptoms than you'd expect! Eg more colds, nosebleeds, bleeding gums.

Glad I'm well into second trimester now!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 29/11/2020 09:45

@Spottybluepyjamas I was 6 weeks when I started feeling totally awful, all day sickness, headaches etc! I had sore boobs before that and that was all, x

agradecida · 29/11/2020 10:25

Around 6 weeks

MooseyGoose90 · 29/11/2020 10:29

5 weeks bang on for me. I just didn’t feel “right” and when I had my morning coffee and couldn’t stomach it 3 days in a row I realised I must be pregnant!
