8 Weeks- Bleeding again :(

This time it is bright red and there were a few small clots I am expecting the worst. I don't really know what to do. I had some brown spotting two weeks ago and they told me that there is nothing they can really do in the case of a threatened miscarriage. I have had a scan since then that showed a good heartbeat. Is it worth going to the hospital walk in centre tomorrow in the hope that I may get a scan? I'm only eight weeks so I'm not sure they would be able to find a heartbeat any other way.

oh littlelamb.
I couldn't ignore your message, but have no personal experience of this.
I should get checked out if at all possible.
Hopefully it wont be what you think. best of luck. x

I had a few bleeds right up to 16 weeks with my first. I never found out what the problem was and went to term +5 with very healthy baby. I don't know if you can get scans at weekends. I went in at night once and had to go back next day for scan. Lots of women bleed and don't miscarry so there is hope. good luck

I had a similar experience 2 days after I had a scan at 7 weeks and had severe pain and bleeding - had to wait several days for a scan and had an internal bleed but the baby was OK. I bled for 2 months so it is possible that the baby is still OK. If you go to be scanned ask if they can do abdominal rather than internal as I felt that would provoke more bleeding for me. Will keep my fingers crossed for you as I know how awful it is not knowing what is going on.

I bled twice whilst pg. Once at about 8 weeks, and again at 13 weeks. It didn't come to anything and ds was born at 40+9.

I would recommend you call your MW now. She may be able to give you some advice and put your mind at rest.
