Selling second hand pram

Hi everyone

Looking to see if anyone could give me an indication as to how much a second hand pram goes for? I have 1 DC and pregnant with DC2. I was planning on using a buggy board but think DC1 is too young (20 months) and on another thread most people suggested getting a double buggy.

I have a bugaboo fox, limited edition navy material with quilted cream inside. I have a brand new set of leather handles for it, the navy footmuff, the travel bag and a cream breezy sun canopy. Any ideas how much I should sell this for? Brand new all of that would cost approx £1350

I also have a babyzen yoyo + purchased in March this year. That has matching footmuff and rain cover. Retail on that is around £490.

I don't know if selling both is wise to get a double. Can't really afford to keep those prams and fork out for a double.

Thanks

A quick Facebook market search has the bugaboo Fox same as you described ranging from £175 - £700

I would think you’d struggle to get near what you paid but you could try listing it at a reasonable amount (1/2 price?!) and see if you get any interest

I've been looking to sell my silver cross pram as I'm having twins so have to buy a bigger pram. Everything I read suggested selling at 1/3 to 1/2 the price of what you bought it for depending on condition

If I was going to buy second hand I wouldn't pay 50% of the new price though - there are so many overpriced used prams on eBay.

Also depends on how quick you need to get rid of it - things seem to take ages on eBay and I've heard Facebook is quicker but cheaper

I don't think you get much for second hand prams, when my DS was born it was so easy to get a second hand pram, the market was flooded with them, great for buyers but not so good for sellers. I was offered three (without any payment Blush).

You might get around 50%.

If you can, I wouldn’t sell either righty now. Buy a cheaper double like the out and about nipper ( could get this secondhand also for about £100)

Then you can keep using the fox for baby and the baby zen for toddler when there is two of you, and if you want to use sling for baby and baby zen for space saving sometimes.
At 20 months, a double will be handy, but you will probably use it the most for 6 months, then use occasionally and swap back to using the other two singles with board again

Unfortunately almost no expensive baby kit keeps its value. Get a secondhand double to tide you over, you won’t lose as much later.
This is why we had a Phil & Ted as it could be a single too , don’t suppose they are as popular now though.
