Is this the beginning of a miscarriage?

I am 6 weeks 2 days pregnant based on lmp.
I was physically vomiting at 4 weeks (I had hg with last pregnancy), so I started taking the meds I had whilst pregnant with ds. Worked a treat for the sickness and nausea but have had bad ache and mild cramps the last couple of weeks too.

TMI discharge
I've had some pasty brownish discharge the last couple of days (not enough for a liner), the same amount of discharge as the last couple of weeks but a darker colour. Earlier today I wiped and it was dark brown. When I continued to wipe it was just watery and brown tinged. A few hours later, some more stringy/stretchy brown mucus. I've got a mild crampy feeling still in lower tummy and back and feel very bloated and tired but now I'm obviously worrying this is the beginning of the end.

Any advice? What do I do? Didn't have this with ds and am at a bit of a loss Sad

I would speak to your GP. Hope it's nothing concerning but better to get checked 💞

Discharge, especially in the first trimester, is normal. I remember the first time I had discharge. I was 9 weeks. I immediately called the midwife and barely slept all night as I expected to wake up heavily bleeding. It soon passed and I since had spotting and discharge a few times since then. All you can do is keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, call the midwife.

Thanks @Sewingbea09

@MsHedgehog that's reassuring. Yes everything online says contact gp/midwife straight away but I will wait and see how it pans out a while longer.

It's been heavier and brown this morning (enough for a pad) and is now red. Not good.

I’m so sorry this is happening to you. It’s heartbreaking. This happened to me 2 weeks ago, sadly mine wasn’t good news:( But all is not lost, I’ve seen a few women on here go on to still have a healthy baby after bleeding. See your gp ASAP and wishing you all the best. ❤️❤️

I'm booked in for a scan at 9am on Monday morning. I've had to isolate from work for two weeks a couple of weeks ago, had a medical appointment for ds today and now I have to ask for more time off on Monday now Confused

im a teacher and don't really want my boss to know the real reason I have to be in late, what the hell do I say Blush

A friend recommended that I tell work "gynaecological " when they specifically asked why i was having lots of time off sporadically. Not untrue and more importantly stops people asking.

Also meant to say I'm so sorry. I'm in the middle of management for a MMC and its brutal. I hope your scan gives good news x
