Symptoms Completely Disappeared

I know it’s possible for symptoms to come and go or decrease the further along you are.

However, I’m not 10+1 weeks and I feel pretty much my normal self. I haven’t been sick once since I got my positive but pretty much everyday I’ve been quite nauseous, especially in the evening. For the past 2 weeks I was absolutely exhausted, like I’d go to work for a few hours and come home and just sleep the day away. I’ve had food aversions throughout.

For the last 3 or 4 days I don’t feel pregnant at all. The nausea is gone. In fancying more foods than before. The exhaustion is pretty much gone (although yesterday I was shattered after a long day travelling) On Tuesday I had more energy than ever.

I’m just so worried somethings not right and I still have two weeks before my 12 week scan. I did have a scan at 8+5 weeks and the sonographer said the heartbeat was strong and other than being too early to do any tests, didn’t indicate any problems.

I know I’m probably just being paranoid but it’s my first pregnancy and I guess not feeling pregnant has me in a bit of a head spin 😓

It’s very normal for symptoms to start easing towards the end of the first trimester, so please try not to worry! I know it can be so stressful but it’s really common and doesn’t mean anything sinister is happening. I was in a very similar boat - by my 12 week scan I’d had a couple of weeks of not feeling pregnant at all (and actually it took me until about 21 weeks to start feeling pregnant again!).

Hopefully you will be happily reassured at your 12 week scan Flowers

Thank you, it’s really lovely to be reassured by others who have experienced the same.

It’s just such a long time to wait between appointments and scans. Plus having nothing to compare it to. I thought I’d be constantly sick and miserable for 9 months but it’s been a breeze so far... should consider myself extremely lucky I guess 😂
