Private early scans suggestions

I am currently 5+6 and am looking to have a private early scan as I simply cannot wait until my NHS 12 weeks scan.I had an early miscarriage years ago and I am so anxious about this pregnancy. I feel like I need some peace of mind.

Does anyone recommend them? Or know of any good companies in the South East?

I have booked a few times with Ultrasound Direct (Babybond) and they’ve been really good every time. Depending how early you are and if they can’t see a heartbeat you get a free follow up scan usually a week later. I know that a lot of people also like Window to the Womb so worth having a look at them too. In my opinion early scans can be quite stressful if you go too early but are worth every penny to give you reassurance that the little bean is okay xx

Don't go until about 8 weeks. Anything earlier tends to be stressful as a few MMS out in measurements can send you into a tailspin.

I agree with waiting till 8 weeks - or as long as you can really. I went to Ultrasound direct and they were very good - my sonographer actually worked at the EPU as well.

I also used ultrasound direct (i live in London) they were really good ,professional and through. I too have had previous losses so found the wait until 12 weeks would be too long to wait.
I went at 7 weeks and they were able to see a sac and an embryo in the right place which also had a little heat beating. Well worth the £70. All sonographers there were fully qualified in obstetric sonography which I found quite reassuring too.
