Anyone had low levels of Papp-a ,just had a letter explaining I have low levels of this so I will get regular scans from 30 weeks , I’m 17 weeks so far and it’s really worried me. Anyone’s experience of it would’ve great 😊

Hi Kelsie239 I had the low Papp-a results back from screening as well, I’m 34 weeks and so far baby is measuring fine! My midwife told me it’s only about 10% of people it actually affects so try not to worry! I’ve really loved going for the extra scans as you get to see the baby more! Xx

I had low Papp-a with my last baby, who was 9lbs! Because of the extra monitoring you'll receive, if you were one of the small number of women to experience issues, they would be picked up quickly. So all very reassuring really! Low Papp-a seems pretty common actually, in my experience.

I had it with DS and this time I was 0.1 below the threshold for needing to be monitored again. Spoke to a genetics specialist and she told me everything is just based on averages and PAPP-A is something they still don’t know that much about. She said the chances are that for me low PAPP-A is completely normal and not to worry at all. DS was born a healthy weight with no problems
