Really hoping someone can help.

I've been suffering with the usual constipation for the past 4 weeks, now 9 weeks.

Hadn't eaten any of the usual suspects prior to this.

Anyway this afternoon I started feeling really crampy, bloated had to suddenly run to the toilet.

Well, I won't go into details but, yeah....it was pretty horrific. I was also vomiting at the same time (previously diagnosed with HG so not totally out the norm)

It's my first so I'm just worrying about everything but some things I've read have said a sudden bout like this can be first sign of MMC. Sad

What do you think...worth a call to the midwife or chill out?

I've had this since I found out I was pregnant this time round. Scan at 9 weeks two days ago completely fine. I've had it every day for 5 weeks up to 10 times a day.

With my previous miscarriages I've never had it.

Ah I feel your pain! I’m 16 weeks and had 2 instances of this - the first time about 9 weeks in it was so sudden and so painful and I swear, the only reason it stopped was because there was nothing else to come out... euch!

It’s natural to be a bit worried but for me it hasn’t been an indication of a serious issue. If you’re being sick too though you need to be careful of getting dehydrated.

Thanks both so much.

I got this with my first pregnancy. I remember once having to run home from a dog walk otherwise I wouldn’t have made it to the toilet. If did calm down but my bowels remained active throughout my pregnancy.

My bowels are all over the place in pregnancy. I really wouldn't worry too much. Make sure you're hydrated but beyond that try not to worry.
