Growing a whopper!!!!

Hey everyone! Just looking for a few stories.

I'm 32 weeks with baby 2, a little boy. I've consistently been measuring 3-4 weeks ahead all the way through which is amazing considering I have low PAPP-A! Don't have GD either been tested all clear! Went for a growth scan today, he's measuring 35-36 weeks and estimated to be 5lb 6oz.

My first baby was born 5 weeks early and was 5lb 10oz so they're saying LGA. Family history of prem births - my own mum went 37, 35, 31 weeks.

I have several questions! What do you think are the chances of another prem birth given my history, low PAPP-A and whopper of a boy I'm growing? Have any of you experienced similar?

He's already head down in position BTW - has been since 28 weeks.

My daughter was born at 5 pounds 1 at 35+3 and I think that was 50th centile

I don't think 5 pound 6 is that big ? I could be wrong

It is for 32 weeks toptreeroots 🤣 he is on the 97th centile at the mo!

Ah I'm sorry I read that as you being 35-36 weeks not measuring at that at 32

My son was born a day early and he was 9lb 1oz so he was quite big. He also had a huge head! 95th centile! 😂 I have no experience of PAPP-A but wanted to let you know I had him vaginally and although he took a while to push out I only had a second degree tear.

First baby, they said he was 6lb at 31 weeks. He came on his own at 38 weeks and was 9lb 6oz.

Second baby was predicted to be bigger, they kept a close eye on him due to his size. The started sweeps at 38 weeks. This was because they predicted hed be 10lb at 40 weeks and this would still be manageable for me. He didnt stir at the sweeps at 38 or 39 weeks. They induced be at 39+5 and he was born at 39+6, he was 10lb 12oz.

My DD at 32 weeks measured 7lb and she was 10lbs 5oz at 38 weeks.

33+6 for my little girl and 6lb 9...whopper!!

At 36 weeks DS was 8lb 7oz, no GD, just a huge baby who was delivered by ELCS at 39 weeks weighing 10lb 7oz

I had extra scans as part of a research project into the correlation between femur length and low/high birthweight, having previously given birth to DD at 10lb 3oz.
