Hey everyone.
I'm 15 weeks and stopped taking folic acid at 12 weeks roughly.
Is there any vitamins I should be taking now?
Thankyou!

I've just kept taking the nhs women's vitamins right throughout and I'm now 25 weeks x

Vitamin D is strongly recommended; you may want to take a pregnancy multivitamin ('normal' multivitamins contain too much vitamin A, which can be harmful).

Just vitamin d after the first trimester. Ideally taking them alongside folic acid before that too

I think vitamin D and Iron are good ones to take and recommended for pregnancy throughout. Most pregnancy vitamins say you can take them throughout the pregnancy.

I only took vitamin D. Folic acid exacerbated my nausea abs it is included in all pregnancy vitamins so I stopped it at 12 weeks. There is also some suggestions that taking folic acid beyond 12 weeks may increase risks of tongue tie

Just get a pregnancy vitamin. I used to take Asda's own brand. Also my midwife gave me some free nhs ones everytime I needed some

I have asked 2 different midwives and one said i could keep taking pregnacare vitamins post 12 weeks and the other said it’s best not to! I decided to go for the cheaper option and stopped taking them. I’m now just taking vitamin D

They advise folic acid and vitamin D but if you can get a pregnancy multi vit it’s got everything
