So I'm 8 weeks and I literally feel like I've been hit by a bus! I work full time in a nursery and have 2 children and I do everything at home too and I think it's finally caught up on me.

I've taken today off as I've been up since 3 being sick as I suffer with bad sickness during pregnancy. But I feel terrible that I'm sat at home and let work down I just couldn't physically work today.

Is that bad? I'm only 8 weeks should I be this exhausted already? I also have hypothyroidism so that mixed in doesn't help.

Really hoping that it passes soon. How is everyone else feeling?

X

Early pregnancy is completely exhausting! In fact pregnancy in general is exhausting! I’m 20 wks now and still struggle with energy and tiredness. When I was 6 - 10 weeks I felt like I’d been hit by a truck. Tired, sick, no energy etc. It was just about getting through it a day at a time. Take the time you need off work and don’t feel guilty. It will pass! X

I am so glad to see this post. I am 10 weeks pregnant with my first baby and this is EXACTLY how I feel. Exhausted, headaches and constant nausea!! Unfortunately, I also suffer from Chronic Cluster Headaches so I’ve been off work for a month so far as I can’t take any medication. Fingers crossed it will start to ease 😟

It's so tiring isn't it!! It's mentally draining too. I don't remember feeling like this with my other 2 I had sickness but the tiredness wasn't as bad. Oh bless you headaches are horrible arnt they I haven't had any bad ones yet. I'm sat at home under the duvet not touching the house work and watching rubbish on tv I t probably sounds selfish but I need some me time for a few hours x
