Pain next to belly button

I am currently 4+3 and have had no symptoms except the odd cramp here and there.

Last night I experienced quite severe sharp pains to the left of my belly bottom. My stomach was sore to touch and when pressing down on the area it felt extremely sensitive. Ea h time I moved I could feel pain in the area. It lasted about 10 minutes.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what it could be?

Ive woken up feeling deflated and have a feeling that this pregnancy is going to end prematurely.

I know it’s too early for a scan which makes me feel even worse. I don’t know what to do and DH doesn’t seem to understand my concern.

I’m sorry you’re feeling like this, I can’t say that your pain is not something worse - you would need to get it checked out to get that confirmation.

However, I can confirm I had a sore tummy like you described. It wasn’t as early on as this but otherwise very similar, like I’d been bruised. Maybe I’m a little blasé but I wasn’t too concerned at the time, there was no bleeding and I just put it down to growing pains. Lots of strange things happen early on, not all of them are a bad sign though they can be scary!

I would let your partner reassure you for now unless you have any more reasons to get checked out, it’s difficult but worry won’t help xx
