Yep me! Due 21st July with baby number 2. How about you?

jonesfrankie · 24/11/2020 10:29

@Inthesky42 Congratulations! I'm due July 4th with baby number 6. How's your pregnancy going so far?

Inthesky42 · 24/11/2020 10:31

@jonesfrankie wow baby 6! You must tell me some tips for how to deal with sibling rivalry! My little boy will only be 20 months when number 2 is born. I feel fine so far, I didn't get sick last time so hoping it's the same this time around!

Samjane93 · 24/11/2020 10:39

Congratulations all Smile I'm due July 2nd with my first. Feeling so tired, lazy and unmotivated at the moment and sleeping a lot during the day when I'm at home.. really looking forward to when the fatigue passes.

jonesfrankie · 24/11/2020 10:43

@Inthesky42 Well, in terms of toddlers, I can't give a huge amount of advice. My kids were all at least 2 or 3 when their siblings were born. Sibling rivalry is a tricky one! As long as it's nothing too harsh, they should get over it themselves, but when they can't, they just need to be talked to I guess. Get to the root of the problem. I've been sick every pregnancy!

I'm also due July! My daughter will be just under 16 months when baby is born 🙈 we wanted a close age gap but didn't think it would happen quite as quickly as it did!

jonesfrankie · 24/11/2020 10:53

@Samjane93 Congratulations to you too! Pregnancy symptoms aren't that fun.

OP posts:
jonesfrankie · 24/11/2020 10:55

@hopefulowl Same here! I just had twins 7 months ago, so the gap will only be 15 months.

@jonesfrankie 6! That's amazing you're still keen for more babies when you've been sick in every pregnancy! My first I was constantly sick, 24 hours a day but mostly in evenings - for week 6-16, it didn't completely go until week 20. This time I am feeling nauseous in the mornings, but it does lessen as the day goes on. Praying it's not as bad this time as I couldn't function last time but now have my daughter to look after!

hopefulowl · 24/11/2020 10:56

@jonesfrankie
Twins! Ahhh I don't feel as crazy for having another one so soon now! How are you coping?!

Iamhev · 24/11/2020 11:57

First time mum, due on 24 July. No idea what I am doing really, feeling very tired and have a sickness feeling that is always there but nothing too bad just yet. Very excited but equally nervous.
Not had much support offered to date but maybe its too early. Doctors told me to complete a form and bow I have to wait for 2 weeks for someone to get in touch. Maybe I'm expecting too much to soon. Being an older mum (39) I want to ensure I'm doing everything right to ensure I get to the end. Any tips, especially on supplements and diet would be much appreciated Smile

@Samjane93 welcome to the first mummy July 2021 club x

TheGlitterFairy · 24/11/2020 13:33

Congratulations everyone - may I join? Found out last Tuesday that I'm pregnant - first baby! Have had a VERY long road of infertility/ surgeries and after 3.5 years of fertility treatment, 3 rounds of IVF, a cancelled round, a cancelled FET and a failed transfer 3 years ago and now FINALLY on our 6th attempt (and with a wonderful donor egg), here we are. What a journey!!! Due date according to the online calculator is 25th July.

Had a couple of blood tests last week that looked good and am booked in for a scan on the 7th Dec. If all ok, then will be discharged from the IVF clinic and into mainstream care. Eek!

All seems very surreal and now worried that something will go wrong!!! Trying to stay positive and count down the days til the 7th! Symptom wise - sore boobs and really tired; no sickness as yet but 5 +2 today so perhaps a bit early.

MintGreenLife · 24/11/2020 14:27

@TheGlitterFairy wow you really have had quite the journey! Huge congrats to you :)

I found out this Sunday just gone, so all very new to me. Am due late July.

Hope you don't mind me asking you all - have you had much in the way of cramps so far? I seem to notice everyone saying they had cramps very early, but so far I've just had some twinges and a bit of a feeling of pressure, and today not much at all x

MintGreenLife · 24/11/2020 14:28

I should add I'm only about 4 weeks, so far I've had sore boobs on the side and bloating, but that's it really x

TheGlitterFairy · 27/11/2020 08:25

Thanks @MintGreenLife, it’s taken a while to get here! Congratulations to you too!
I’ve not had any cramps, just a few twinges here and there and not for a few days now.
Boobs are still sore and I’m a bit bloated and felt a wave of nausea yesterday/ day before but it didn’t last very long - to the point I’m not even 100% that it was that!! Think I’m overanalysing everything....

MintGreenLife · 27/11/2020 10:02

@TheGlitterFairy I'm totally in the same boat as you! I'm still not getting much in the way of cramps, and I'm finding it hard not to worry about it, but the fact you're finding the same makes me feel better :) I just get little twinges here and there like you and yep bloating also. At least you don't have long to wait until your scan now :) you'll have to let me know how you get on xx

YoungScrappyHungry · 27/11/2020 18:23

Due 1st July with my first, so about 9 weeks now. I've been hospitalised twice with hyperemesis which has been horrible but touch wood that was a few weeks ago now and I seem to have found the right meds which mean I can at least eat and drink now.

Things have kicked up a gear since week 8 for me, emotionally. Very irritable and restless which is very unlike me!

Pinkroseuk · 28/11/2020 08:53

Can I join please ?
Due July 2021 with our first. We have been ttc for nearly 4 years.
Had sore boobs for last few weeks and nausea but no sicknesss(is that normal?)
Lovely to meet you all :)

MintGreenLife · 28/11/2020 12:39

@Pinkroseuk hi :) when in July are you due? Congratulations! I think that morning sickness is meant to kick in around 6 weeks, but doesn't necessarily mean you'll get nausea and sickness, can surely just be nausea? Also of course some women don't get any morning sickness. I'm just about 5 weeks and do actually feel slight nauseous today!

@YoungScrappyHungry sorry to hear you've had a rough ride so far, hopefully now you're on the right meds you'll be feeling much better for the duration :) as I said above, I'm just about five weeks and have had sore boobs for around a week, slight nausea today, get very hungry very quickly and some fatigue xx

MintGreenLife · 28/11/2020 13:01

Can I ask a potentially TMI question? I know CM is meant to increase in pregnancy, and I've been looking into it and found that in most women it's not noticeable until around 8 weeks, but I've heard other people talking about an increase in the CM before they even got a BFP. Just wondering if anyone feels like theirs increased and if so at what point? I'm about 5 weeks now and apart from some thick stretchy cm on 2-3 occasions I haven't noticed a lot more x

Pinkroseuk · 29/11/2020 08:10

@MintGreenLife I had irregular periods so we think between the 10-23rd. Waiting for booking in appointment and scan to verify.
Had some spotting this morning so trying to stay positive today and rest a little

MintGreenLife · 29/11/2020 08:14

@Pinkroseuk I had the same issue! If I go from my LMP that would put me at over siz weeks, but I know I didn’t ovulate until CD30, so am actually about 5 weeks. Sorry to hear that, I think spotting in the first trimester is quite common and often harmless, but that doesn’t make it any less scary. Hope you can rest up today and be kind to yourself xx

Pinkroseuk · 30/11/2020 17:58

Thankyou @MintGreenLife.
Feeling a bit better this morning, I didn't contact the midwife team but had no reply yet. Hope your feeling okay x

Rxchel97 · 30/11/2020 22:45
