I was wondering if anyone had experienced this. For a few weeks now I've had a tightening all over my torso. Every now and then, it will last for about 45 seconds or so and then disappear. It goes all around my back and right up to my chest. I don't struggle to breath but my chest gets a bit tight. Its not painful and at first I thought it was just the baby turning or maybe braxton hicks?
I'm 30 weeks and this is my third baby, but I don't remember experiencing anything like this with the last 2. I've had a Google but can't find anything that describes what I'm feeling.
Anyone know what it could be?

It sounds similar to my Braxton hicks this time (4th baby). My midwife told me they can become more intense with each pregnancy so maybe that is why it feels different.
I haven't been able to walk my children to school without bringing on BHs since 23 weeks and it's only 5 mins away.

Thats what I thought it could be. It does tend to start if I've been doing some housework or something that takes more energy. Thanks Grumpy. Hope yours aren't too bad.

Yes. Sometimes all I have to do is bend down to pick something up and they're off. It was a bit of a shock at first as it's nearly 7 years since my last so I'd kind of forgotten about BH altogether!
I'd mention it to your mw but it does sound very familiar. X

Ah me too my youngest is 7 this week. I might just have blocked it all out 😂. Ill mention it at the nest app. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
