Cramps after flu 6 weeks

Hi everyone,

I'm roughly about 7 weeks pregnant and I've come down with a bug. I feel really awful, I keep going hot then cold, awful headache and really sore throat. I've been cramping quite a bit the last hour and I'm just really hoping it's not the worst happening. But I've read of correlations between fever and miscarriages before and can't shake the thought!

I'm really hoping for some reassurance or positive experiences Sad
Thank you xx

I had terrible flu whilst pregnant with my middle child. Try to rest and drink plenty of fluids and keep on top of pain with paracetamol.

Fingers crossed you'll be fine but keeping your temp under control is pretty much all you can do.

Hope it's all ok

Thanks for your reply @CandyLeBonBon I've been resting today but feel no better I'm hoping it clears up really quick! It's so hard not to panic Sad your experience has made me feel better though so thank you Smile

Hope you get better soon. I know it's easy to worry but try your best not to. I also had cramping with my 3rd fairly early on - so much so I thought a miscarriage was inevitable (not flu related though) - she's just turned 12!

Keeping everything crossed for you

Hi @CandyLeBonBon

I feel so much better, I've had no spotting or anything and my cramps have settled down so I hope everything's okay and my little peanut is growing happy and healthy!

Thanks for checking in, you're very kind xx
