5 weeks spotting

I’ll be 6 weeks tomorrow from my LMP and wondering is this a common time for spotting? I saw the smallest bit of pink cm two days ago only happened once when wiping then today a very small bit of brown but it’s not continuous it only happened once. I had a MMC last year so the least wee thing I’m maybe over worrying about. I have an early scan next Saturday should I just wait it out or contact someone for advice? I’m not in any pain apart from the odd back cramp and still having nausea and other symptoms. Thank you to anyone who replies I appreciate it

As you know there is nothing that anyone can do about this so there is little point in contacting anyone now.
You will need to wait it out, your scan next week might help but again it’s very very early so nothing might show up.
Unless the bleeding gets very heavy and pain unbearable, it’s a case of just waiting and watching to see which way this will go.

It’s a horrible situation.
There’s loads of people on here who have experienced this and gone on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies so it might not come to anything.

@Pickypolly thank you for the reply. I had thought the same to not contact anyone especially with only having a week to wait. Just one of my friends is pregnant also but further along and she kept telling me to ring my GP. By next week I’ll be 6 weeks and 6 days so hopefully the heartbeat will be there 🤞🏻

GP can’t do anything other than refer you to EPAU, they may not do anything either except scan you but as you are so early, a heart beat probably won’t be seen.

It’s best to wait the week out.

Hi @sweetpea12 do you have any updates? I'm also 5+6 and had some pink bleeding mixed with CM when I went to the toilet earlier. I also had quite bad back cramps. I'm obviously assuming the worst! Xx

Hi @WingingIt2021 I had the spotting for 3 days but it didn’t change just slightly pink and then one little bit of brown and I had back cramps but nothing now except nausea and have a scan on Saturday so hoping all is well. I was reading online that cramps around 5 weeks is very common and the spotting x
