Hi all!

I am pregnant for the first time and am 10 weeks. I had an early pregnancy scan the other day due to spotting and shoulder pain and thankfully all was ok!! However i am still spotting on and off. It is just when i wipe and can be there for a day and then go again. It is usually very light pink and has been brownish once with a snot like consistency (sorry for too much info) I'm just wondering has anyone else experienced this? Not constant but one day there and another day gone. Everytime i wipe and see the slight pink colour i panic all over again (even after an early scan saying all fine) I'd love to hear from other mums!

Thank you Smile

Well all was fine in my early scan and the sonographer said spotting was normal. I'm just a worrier so would love to hear from other mums! We are likely worrying for nothing x

I had browny discharge/light pinky stuff during 8 weeks, 10 weeks and 12! I completely freaked out. It had no cause behind it but apparently unless it is bright red and accompanied by pain then it’s nothing to worry about! Xx

Thank you willowfalls! That is alot more reassuring to hear. Every time i see it i panic. I just want to enjoy my pregnancy. Even after the early scan im still worried :( im just a worrier by nature! Roll on 3 weeks until i get another scan and can feel reassurance again xx

I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and have been spotting on and off for 6days now, brownish/pinkish only in the morning and the afternoon(twice a day). On day 4 I got worried, went for a sonar scan, all was perfect but the Dr warned me of possible miscarriage should the bleeding get worse or pass any up normal thing's.

Since then I'm not sure what's happening with me cause no flowing happened as yes, still on and off spotting, my boobs are soar at times and sometimes not. No morning sickness, no craving, nothing except soar boobs at times.

But I'm scared, cause bleeding while pregnant it's so scary.

@Willowfalls
Please could you be careful and not make assumptions that people should only worry if they have bright red blood accompanied by cramps.
If a women has any form or type of bleeding whether pink/Red/brown blood they should take it up with a registered health care professional.
Many women lose a baby through having brown (old) blood spotting. This is currently happening to me and this is the 3 rd time. I have never had bright red bleeding with cramps in any of my losses. This is the case for many women-all you have to do is trawl this website and you will find many instances of it.

@Confused38 i think she was trying to put me at ease by sharing her experience and how it wasnt worrying for her. I've had an early scan and all ok still just a bit worried. Sorry to hear what you are going through x

@Confused38 i’m really sorry to hear what you’re going through & sorry if I caused any upset. I was just trying to provide some reassurance and pass on what two midwives have told me. Hope you are okay x
