I've never posted anything on any site like this before but im hoping someone else may have had the same experience and can help. I had a miscarriage 7 months ago no pain but just constant bleeding and back and fourth the hospital for weeks as I chose natural management. I am now touching 8 weeks pregnant. Last Thursday I started getting very strong painful cramps. Followed by a very heavy bleed with a number of large clots. I rang my gp and was given a scan on Monday at the local EPU. I expected to go there and basically be told my worst fear that this had happened again and a misscarriage was pending if not completed. (very heavy bleeding and clots throughout the weekend leading up to the appointment) to my surprise there was a baby with a very strong heartbeat. They advised I have a bicornuate uterus and that the bleed was coming from the other side. Its now 7 days later, bleeding is still on and off and passing the odd clot every other day. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? They obviously couldn't guarantee anything but have said to wait till my 12 week scan. Im just terrified that if I miscarry Im not even going to be aware as im already bleeding!
