There's a 50:50 chance you could be right! You are not tempting fate, as the sex of your baby is already decided but I hope you kept the receipts, just in case!! x

Hi C.B my hubby says i might get depressed but i wont as this baby is a miracle-got pregie when i was about to start ivf cycle and had paid , got refund back, so yes have kept receipts.

congratulations ! as CB says, you have a 50 % chance of being right

i was convinced my first pregnancy was a girl, after all, i am a girl, how could i grow a boy

of course, he turned out to be a DS!! we did find out at the scan, so had 20 weeks to get used to it and buy lots of blue clothes

i hadn't bought anything before the scan, but kept calling the bump by the girl's name we had chosen!

second time, i had a girl, and spent the first 20 weeks convinced i was having another boy!

i am hopeless!!

If your baby turns out to be a boy you could always keep the pink outfits for next time.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I bought a few girls and boys outfits that I liked. Am now pregnant again, so maybe the boys outfits will get some use, but if not I'll give them so someone I know.

Oddly, I've always bought clothes which were unisex - but each time have leant more to girlish or boyish and been spot on! Mind i do get baby dreams, which have been accurate so far - I think this ones pink, and will have the darkest hair of the lot - I'll find out in january!

I bought one pink babygro and one blue babygro when I was pregnant with dd2. If I'd had a boy, I would have given the pink one away as a present.

As it happened, I had a second girl, and she got to wear both babygros

Hi mrsmope.
Your advise on saving it for next time, this preggie has not been smooth sailing so far so for me to even think of the next one is like going on the circle line and not getting off. Maybe will change my mind after pinky is born. x

DS wont let me live it down that he come home from hospital in flowery bright orange and pink snow suit.

Ambi · 20/10/2007 20:02

Our scan said we're having a girl, so now have sheedloads of pretty pink outfits, but keep panicking that the scan could be wrong, but then chuckle that I'll have cross dressing baby, he won't mind will he? Oh dear beeper - maybe he will

Ambi · 20/10/2007 20:03

hope all goes well for you ruva

Hi, ladies-Its a boy!
Thanks so much for your support yes i did see a snoope before the sonographer showed us- yes its a boy, quite happy though i was pissed of when i had 3 people in the corridor discussing me which i thought was unprofessional, the elderly midwife was saying she has a very low lying placenta , the young one said tell her not to shag, when she came back into the room she said you must come back at 36 weeks and have cuddles so i said, have cuddles after 36 weeks or from now, she could not bring herself to tell me not to shag, so the young one came in and said no shagging at all. I mean how does the elderly M.d think i got pregnant!
