Positive test, bleeding and now test showing negative?

Hey guys,

I had 3 positive pregnancy tests earlier this week. I did have spotting with brown discharge and cramping but was not too worried.

However, yesterday I started bleeding red blood and cramping very badly. The NHS sadly was terrible and I felt let down as I was unable to speak to a doctor or contact early pregnancy unit (no one picked up the phone)

This morning I tested again, still bleeding and I'm negative. Could this be a chemical pregnancy? Were the positives wrong?

Shall I just assume it was an early miscarriage? :(

I’m sorry you’re going through this. It’s unlikely that the positives were wrong? How early did you test? If you’re spotting now and the tests are negative, it is possible that it is cp/mc. You could ask your GP to do a blood test to confirm HCG level.
