Hiya

I went for my 20 week anomaly scan (I have posted about this previously) everything was fine except I was detected as having a low lying posterior placenta. They booked me in for a 36 week scan, but from everything I've read I'm not sure whether they should have booked me in for a 32 week to check the position of the placenta??

I would just like some opinions/experiences with this please as I really don't want to pester the midwife/doctor/nhs before I'm sure they should have booked me in for 32 weeks.

Hello, I too had low lying posterior placenta at my 20 week scan. They booked me in for a scan at 32 weeks. They did advise that if it's not moved by then another scan would be at 36 weeks, and a plan would be devised from there if it's still low.
It may be that it's done differently in different trusts?

I also had a 32 week scan. Phone them up to clarify.

My friend also had a 32 week and 36 week scan so think they might have missed one.
