2nd time round sickness

Hi everyone, Ive just found out I'm pregnant with my second. First time round I had horrific sickness and could barely get out of bed. This time I have a 6mo so staying in bed isn't an option. If it was bad the first time round does it mean it will be similiar the 2nd time? Has anyone's been better or completely worse?
Thank you

@helloitsme4432 hey! So my first pregnancy I had horrific sickness in and out of hospital the whole way through! Started with sickness last week and it's gotten worse and worse and the last three days not been able to get out of bed, for sure thought it was starting again the same as last time, but today feel fine, just little waves of sickness! I was so worried but keep reading all pregnancies are different xx

@helloitsme4432 agree with PP that they are all different but i'm on my second now and found the nausea was similar but I knew how to deal with it much better! You know how to make yourself feel marginally better so that also helps too - best of luck!

I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my second and had nothing with my first, this time I feel sick on and off all day Confused

Good luck x

I went down the medication route with my second. I just couldn't be as bad as I was the first time with a 2yo to run round after. It's worth investigating if you do end up as bad.

Each pregnancy is different and you may just have to wait and see. First pregnancy I was sick twice and felt a bit sick for a week and generally felt amazing. I thought the same would happen again but I’m now 15 weeks with my second and still being sick and feel dreadful. There’s no rhyme or reason to pregnancy.

@NLW08 that's interesting and comforting to read, I was sick throughout my whole pregnancy with my daughter, but this time I've just been really ill for a week and suddenly feel much better today! X
