Masks, asthma and pregnancy

Morning. I'm feeling like a right pansy, 26 weeks pregnant. I am unable to tolerate a mask, I have asthma and when wearing a mask I now have to use my prn up to 7 times a day. Asthma uncontrolled now. When Im not wearing a mask, still out of breath and mucus galore but much more manageable. The last week I gave up and went sick. I have to wear then 12 hours a day 4 times a week. If I didn't have to wear a mask I would likely be able to tolerate the increase of breathing an coughing and excess mucus that I'm vomiting - I have deviated spectrum and acid reflux too. It's all contributing to it all. I suppose I'm asking for reassurance that I'm not the only one :( I have 3 months of work left - not sure how I'm gonna cope. It's basically down to managers discretion, no place in work where you can't wear a mask. Not able to work from home. I thought I was gonna be safe from 28 weeks pregnant but obviously that's changed and just switched to social distancing(covid)I know minimal risk to baby. But to me, there could be. I suppose I'm worried if I go sick for rest of pregnancy will I be sacked so to speak. Spoken to the usual people occ health (said social distance and managers discretion) antenatal (said get signed off) consultant (speaking and discussing oral steroids) gp (ones that signed me off) literallg so worried about this all...... Any advice.

Hi @Bobbiblue just bumping this for you and hopefully some Mumsnetters will be along with some useful advice.

We've also moved it to the Pregnancy section which should help.Flowers
