I am 19 weeks and was due to go for my 20 week scan on Friday and have had to postpone as I am on day 6 of having Covid. Just wondered how long it took others pregnant to get over it? I’ve had a head cold and loss of taste and smell and it doesn’t seem to be getting better. Baby’s been quiet as well!

Hello! I'm 36 weeks and have just recovered from having COVID. My partner caught it first and then I started showing symptoms the next day.

I had some hot sweats but never a temperature, lost my taste and smell and then was completely exhausted doing ANYTHING.

I stayed in bed for a good 3 days I think and then started to venture downstairs a little at a time, but was a killer coming back up to wee all the time. We pretty much did nothing for the whole isolation period (2nd Nov-12th) and then started by walking the dog up and down the street which still made me knackered.

16 days on now and we're pretty much back to normal, I'm still tired but more pregnancy tired than anything else. Taste and smell is back to a certain degree too.

Please just rest all of the time, it's not worth having a relapse. I would say to rest longer than the 10 days if you can. Hope you feel better soon!!!!
