Hello,

Please can anyone tell me how seen you started to have symptoms to give you any idea you where pregnant? I want a baby so bad it's driving me crazy, I want to do a test but it's only been a week since we had sex so I know it won't show up yet but I'm dying to know if I'm pregnant or not....

Wait for a late period otherwise you’ll drive your self mad with every symptom. Remember that lots of period symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are similar

I know its very difficult but try and make it to 14 dpo. Otherwise it's just stressful interpreting tests. I was testing early and when I finally waited (just so happened to be successful) it was a relief just to have a test as clear as day.

And to my surprise the first symptons are just like a period in fact I have never felt like a period was coming more than the day I got a BFP!

Plan walks, Zoom catchs up, deep cleaning to distract yourself in Lockdown (not sure where you are!)

Good luck! Xxx

Hi. I feel for you as the two week wait is horrendous!! I had to wait longer as I didn’t even get a faint positive until 6 weeks. Even then it was so faint for another six weeks! So I had to go by my symptoms which were so many and varied that I knew I was pregnant! (It turns out I am expecting twins despite the late bfp)

From about 10 dpo I began to get crampy and gassy, the gas and bloated feeling continued until about week 10. I even had a little bloated tum but this went away with the bloatedness at about wk 10.
Like a poster above said, it felt like I was getting my period but it never came.
From 6-10 dpo I craved oranges and ate loads. Coffee started to taste weird and I drank less of it.
11 dpo metallic taste in mouth on and off and a heightened sense of smell which came and went too until week 12.
From about 14 dpo I was beginning to feel nauseous and this got worse from about 20 dpo and remained until week 12.
From about 16 dpo I started to have sore breasts and they gradually got firmer and heavier.
From about 18 dpo I started to be very tired at the end of the day and just needed to crash. I would be in a deep sleep by 9 and I’m normally a night owl. I still need tonnes of sleep and I’m 14 weeks tomorrow.
From about 20 dpo I have had a fair few headaches.
From about 4 weeks dpo the cramps which feel like period cramps changed to little tweaks which came and went.

For me this was after nearly a decade of yearning for a child - so I get it I really do.

Try to relax and wait and see ... I know that is really difficult to do. Symptoms are also very different from person to person.

Good luck to you Flowers

I had literally no symptoms in the 2WW and was convinced this wouldn't be the month. However I took a test anyway at 10dpo, saw a very very faint line but thought it might be evap. Tested again the next day and it was definitely positive.

I'm now 6+4 and still not many symptoms!

GooseWhiskers · 18/11/2020 10:39

My first symptom was really sore boobs, which I also get just before my period so this wasn't hugely helpful.

I was also really tired, couldn't keep my eyes open even after a full night's sleep!

I got my BFP 2 days before my period was due.

With my first dc, I tested at 7dpo and got a faint positive on internet cheapie. Continued to test using them (with a faint line) until 9dpo, which is when I got an FRER with a blazing positive. My symptom at 9dpo was that I woke in the night and couldn't get back to sleep. At 4 weeks the nausea hit and by 9 weeks I was vomiting.

With dc2 i tested at 8dpo and got a bfn. I tested again at 9dpo and another bfp. I woke at 9dpo at night and couldn't sleep and I was also convinced I was pregnant, did an FRER the next day and got a faint positive. At bang on 4 weeks I woke with a horrendous headache, nausea and vomiting. Am now on tablets again to keep sickness away.

Good luck OP. I know it's hard not to test too soon but we all seem to do it. Just remember that it can be too early for a bfp and you're not out until AF arrives!
