Cramps no period 2 days late - has anyone been pregnant with period like cramps but no period

Hello girls

Sort to bother this is really bugging me, I must ask...

I spotted 4 days before expected period (very little) and then ever since cramps quite strong sometimes and this has lasted for 5/6 days I am 2 days late for my period now

I haven’t tested I am too scared too, don’t won’t any disappointment. Could I be pregnant maybe and if so when would be a good idea to test

Hi @Romella. This is what happened when I was pregnant with my DD. I felt as if my period was going to start as had mild cramping but it never did. I waited another few days to test and it was positive. Most tests are pretty accurate when 2 days late. I used FRER or clearblue digital which came up positive pretty quickly at 4 days late. Good luck!

Early pregnancy can feel like your period is due, cramping etc. How would you feel if you were pregnant?

I'm going to be honest, every time I felt like that I was just late. I would spend all day hoping I was pregnant and not letting myself hope, and honestly it was totally unproductive.

Do a test, it will allow you to get on with your life instead of ruminating on this.

Fingers crossed I am, that would be great but I guess we are all different with pregnancy, our body’s do different things! Really hoping this is a Symptom given me some hope And yes would love to me pregnant now, I work hard and feel like we’re ready

This could be a period also though so won’t get to excited, I finish work on Wednesday evening so will pop in a shop an buy a test! And take it Thursday morning sighs a little wait, but least I can spend my rest days (days of work) at minds peace

@Romella I has mild cramps during this time, similar to period but less intense, it was more of a tugging sensation. I was using natural cycles and my temperature usually drops the day my period and it didn't so I did a test and it was positive. Cramping continued for a couple of days

@Nesski @bubblybrit unfortunately I don’t think I am woke up now and had very light blood, spotting so I don’t think I am, will wait see if it gets heavier but I doubt :( x

I am in the same situation, only 10 days late. Got a BFN a while ago, retesting again today.... Fingers crossed you get the result you want!

@Romella. Ah I’m sorry to hear that. Don’t give up hope completely though as light spotting is also common in early pregnancy. It’s such a rollercoaster isn’t it? I hope you get the outcome you want x

@Ygritte84 confusing isn’t, your in samish position however your is a lot more days late, I’d recommend test in a day or two the do say sometimes women so later then others!

@bubblybrit I really have my fingers crossed, so hard haha really wishing. There was only slightest blood and well nothing since then and have been toilet 3 more times so I really do pray it really is a never. Lasting rollercoaster but you’ve given me some home so thank you x

I'm in the same position, was expecting my periods last Friday and leading up to Friday I had the worst back and pelvic pain imaginable. Since then that has got better but the lower pelvic pain as if my periods are about to start hasn't subsided. I have a short cycle of 24 days so we are now day 28 and still nothing. My breasts are literally throbbing and sensitive to touch. I will sit it out a few more days. Fingers crossed for you.

@feistymumma sounds like you really could be I would say test and see if you are and Fingers crossed, I’ve had the same with a tad bit of spotting but only 3 days late now so will wait until I finish work to test

@Romella fingers crossed for Thursday. I am starting to think I am as my periods are always bang on time. Can't describe how I am feeling as I am 44 years old and have a 22 year old. I will be very happy of course but I feel slightly embarrassed if that makes sense.

@feistymumma don’t feel embarrassed! Be proud if you are able to have a child at any age take it with stride, Its never to late if you can! And same my periods are always on time I’m really hoping this is it, I’m 27 however I have been trying for a very long time, wonder if it will ever happen plus had a miscarriage 2 years ago and since then never anything... fingers crossed for you and never feel embarrassed, do you!
