Help me figure out my conception date...?!

I went for what was expected to be my 12 week scan today and ended up at only 8+5 days! I’m super confused when the date of conception was, honestly I’ve got such bad baby brain at the moment I can’t think straight!

Can anyone give me an estimated date of when conception would have been... I know it’s not necessarily important, but myself and my partner kind of think it would be special to know.

Roughly 30th of September. Give or take a few days either side. Everyone is already 2 weeks when conception occurs...

Yep, 30th September, you'd have been 2 weeks pregnant at conception as it assumes you have a 28 day cycle and started your period 2 weeks before.

Using last period is just to give a ballpark before the scan, as menstrual cycles can range widely and 28 days is just an estimated average, mine were typically 33-35 days long. I'm guessing you had a very long cycle which is why your dates don't match up to your scan, which isn't anything to worry about, but they will go by your scan dates going forward
