Help! I cannot find the instructions for the glucose tolerance test I have first thing tomorrow. From last time I think I have to fast 1 hour, then drink lucozade 1 hour before test - is that right?

when I did it I had to fast from the night before until after the test was done. I was only allowed water from 12 midnight I think

I had a GTT done in my last pregnancy and I am sure I had to fast for 12 hours, then have a blood test done, drink that horrible drink, wait a hour, have another blood test, then wait another hour and have another blood test done. I had it done while in hospital, and rememember moaning to the MW that I was hungery, but they wouldn't let me eat

When I've had them done, I have been told to stop eating/drinking (other than water) from 10pm previous night.

Then they took a blood test/urine test BEFORE giving me a glucose drink, then I had to go back every hour for about 3 hours!

Had this done several times during all 3 pregnancies - but was never diabetic. Apparently, my kidneys stop working properly during pregnancy.
