Heading for another chemical? CB weeks only 1-2

So I’m currently 17dpo, very sure of my dates as I tracked temp by using an OvuSense monitor (tracks internal core body temp).

I got my first hint (absolute hold up to the light to see it) of a line at 10dpo on a frer.

Frer lines have continued to get darker although none have been as dark as the control line yet so no dye stealers.

I did a CB digital with weeks indicator on 12dpo and it said not pregnant, so my hcg levels must have been pretty low.

Tested again 14dpo and got a pregnant 1-2 weeks. Tested again 15dpo (just because I’m crazy poas lady) and got another 1-2 weeks.

Tested again today, 17 dpo using fmu, no drinks since last night, and still got a 1-2 weeks. Considering this is now a full week since my first ever faint bfp, I’d have really thought my hcg levels should be high enough to cross over into the 2-3 weeks threshold.

To me it seems like they can’t be doubling at all.

I’m panicking as I’ve had 3 losses this year already (one at 9 weeks, then 2 chemicals), with my last chemical I got a 1-2 weeks and then a week later still a 1-2 weeks so I knew it was going wrong. Then 2 days later I got a not pregnant and started to bleed.

Plus on top of my cb digital drama, I have always tracked my resting heart rate to see ovulation, impending af etc, and up until today my rhr had stayed high, today it’s dropped 2 bpm. Still higher than before ovulation but the lowest it’s been since getting a bfp.

I’m so terrified of having yet another loss. I don’t know how many more times I can do this 😔

Added a pic of my chart which shows temps and rhr (orange line).

No longer temping as you can’t wear OvuSense once pregnant

It's only been 3 days since you got your CB digi positive so I wouldn't expect it to go up to 2-3 weeks yet. At 17dpo 1-2 weeks is exactly right.

It took me 10 days to get from 2-3 days to 3 weeks on that test. I'd stop testing so close together and do another digi in a weeks time and try to relax a bit which I know is hard after previous losses but it won't do you any good to be stressing x

ShalomToYouJackie · 15/11/2020 10:44

Just checked my photos and I didn't get 2-3 weeks until 19dpo. And remember they're not completely accurate as everyone's HCG is different so you might be just below the threshold for the 2-3 weeks atm.

Moominmiss · 15/11/2020 11:19

@ShalomToYouJackie thank you, honestly, it’s lovely to hear somebody else’s positive outcome. I know there’s nothing I can do to alter the outcome whichever way it’s heading, so I should just try to stop thinking about it, but as you say after several losses it’s harder to switch off the anxiety.

I know I shouldn’t have tested so close together, and I know I shouldn’t have been Googling, but I’d read so many stories online of other ladies getting their 2-3’s far earlier than this, and of course nearly all the stories I could find of still getting 1-2 at this stage had bad endings.

To top it off I’ve been cramping this morning, not painful, but just different to the cramps I’ve had on and off since getting my bfp. These are definitely more like af is on her way cramps. If this was any other cycle I’d be thinking af will be here today at some point.

All I can do is wait, and hope that I don’t start bleeding and I can test later in the week and see it change.

Thank you for sharing your story, it does give me hope. I just wish there were more stories like yours!

@Moominmiss I know it's hard not to worry after so many previous losses and unfortunately there is no way to know how this will turn out. But as you went from Not Preg on 12dpo (less than 10 miu/ml) if it doubled every 2 days you wouldn't get your 2-3weeks until like 10 days later.

If we compare it to your first vvvfl, if you were at 3miu/ml at 10dpo, if it doubled it'd look something like 6 at 12dpo, 12 at 14dpo (hitting the threshold for 1-2weeks) 24 at 16dpo, 48 at 18dpo (still not hitting threshold for 2-3weeks). I'd leave it until like 22dpo to test again with the weeks indicator 🤞

Sending you so many positive vibes and hoping this is the rainbow baby you've been waiting for ❤️

@Moominmiss I think you need to stop tracking everything so closely you’re driving yourself mad. I had two consecutive miscarriages back to back, and I know how awful it is. I also got diagnosed with a problem with my uterus in this pregnancy at 5 weeks when I thought I was losing it again. I spent the entire first trimester convinced every cramp and every change of symptom was another sign I was going to miscarry. It was an utterly miserable time! I’m now 27 weeks though.

A change in 2bpm in your resting heart rate is completely meaningless. Those cb tests that give you the weeks aren’t reliable. I was tracking my urine daily during the first week or so using internet cheapies and also doing my temp but I had to stop cos it was making everything worse. The fixating was driving my anxiety. Have a think about what’s helping and what’s making you feel worse.

Fingers crossed everything works out for you this time! X x x x

@Moominmiss it all seems positive from experiences previously! I did wait ten days for mine to change on clear blue digital don't forget! Xxx

Moominmiss · 15/11/2020 11:46

@SmileyT thank you. Those figures are reassuring. Can I ask where you found them? I thought frer were sensitive to 6.5miu meaning I’d have had to be say 7 to get a line?
Then I thought cb digi was 25miu?
I like your figures though lol.

I’ve decided IF I make it that far I won’t test agsin with a digi until the end of next week. By then I should get a definitive answer one way or another.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, it means such a lot right now xx

@Muriel84 you’re absolutely right, none of the testing is helping, it makes me anxious. But equally doing nothing just has me wondering anyway.
I’m so sorry for your previous losses, it’s truly heartbreaking and takes any kind of excitement and enjoyment out of ttc and subsequent bfp’s.

I’ve had a good cry, oh is being so supportive and staying positive. Think I needed a good cry tbh. No more thinking about tests for a good few days now!

@Moominmiss just remember that on a non-digital if it's a vvfl then it probably hasn't actually hit the threshold for that test but even if that was 6miu/ml at 10dpo then that would be 12 at 12dpo, 24 at 14dpo, 48 at 16dpo so still wouldn't be at the 153 required.

I've attached the CB weeks indicator levels I used, sorry I'm a bit of a maths geek so love the numbers but definitely the right plan to not test again at least until the end of next week ❤️

Moominmiss · 15/11/2020 14:45

Thank you @SmileyT those numbers are comforting. It’s just hard not to fear the worst and especially hard not to compare my results with those of other ladies at the same stage (most of whom have reached 2-3 by now, if not 3+!)
I’ve asked my partner to hide the final digital test I have until the end of the week. He’s already done it so couldn’t if I wanted to!!

These pics show my frers. Wasn’t much difference between 15dpo and 16dpo (yesterday).

I haven’t taken another one today. Was going to take one at 20dpo to hopefully see a significant difference. Not as hopeful anymore but will see.

@Moominmiss there wouldn’t be much difference in tests taken one day apart, hcg doubles ever two days. You have good line progression and a clear positive on the one from today! That’s great that your partner has hidden the tests. You’ve spent a fortune! Fingers crossed for your sticky bean. x x x
