Yellow discharge? 5 weeks

Hey everyone, im 5 +2 and yesterday noticed yellow dischrage when i wiped. I had a breakdown and immediately thought it was a misscarrage, over night it hasnt turned into blood! But is still there, is this normal?

Anyone?

Completely normal don't worry. I had discharge like that that looked like snot throughout my first trimester and I'm 15 weeks now and still get it v occasionally

Thanks @shalomtoyoujackie i was hopefull but ive just been to the loo and now its dark brown so expecting the worse. i cant believe it! After 2 years of trying!

Dark brown means old blood and EPU have always told me not to worry and brown blood, only when it's lots of bright red blood. It could just be old implantation bleeding. Hope you're okay xx

@shalomtoyoujackie i was just reading up about that, i dont know what to think, im a mess! Its just more breasts arent hurting now either so thats why im also concerned. No pain at the moment so i guess thats good. Ill just have to wait. Thanks for replying it means a lot xx

@Luckylola12 I had this at 8 weeks which also coincided with the disappearance of all my pregnancy symptoms. Like you I immediately thought the worst, was seen for an early scan at EPU and to our surprise there was a heartbeat! It turned out to be old blood and continued for about two weeks off and on. Our little one is now 8 weeks old.

@sjr86 thanks for replying. Im so glad you went on to have a healthy pregnancy =) ive just been to the loo again and now its just yellow! Fingers crossed it will all be okay, i just dont know what to think!

Hi OP,

You should ring the EPU or ask you GP to make an urgent appointment for you at the EPU.
Sorry I can’t be of more help, but it’s better to get it checked out.
