One darker, dry and itchy nipple. Nothing helps!

Since about end of 1sr trimester my nipples became much darker and larger, which is ok as i read it is hormonal.
However, one of them is darker than the other and has a sort of rash, very itchy, dry flaky skin.
I told the MW at 16w she told me to use bepanthen plus whicg has an antibacterial agent. It has calmed down but as soon as i stopped it's back.
It is a torture honestly to have such itchiness.
I am actually considering going to the dermatologist.

Has this happened to anyone?
Any advice on what to do to help?

Maybe its fungal. Try a fungal cream instead

Thanks for the reply. I see the midwife on tuesday so will ask a prescription for antifungal cream.

You don’t need a prescription for antifungal cream, you can buy it from anywhere, don’t even need a pharmacy

@Oneandabean
I don't live in the UK unfortunately!
It's such a pain where i am to get anything.
