I’ve recently started to experience what I think are Braxton-Hicks: my pregnancy bump seems to go very hard. It doesn’t hurt but is uncomfortable.

Now I have a pain in my anus (sorry, pregnancy is so glamorous.) Is my baby on the way?q

Probably piles?

Piles are different though, aren’t they? Something external? This is just like a stabbing pain In my bum.

Sounds like internal piles to me

Could be baby settling deeper into your pelvis.

Also I must warn you that when I had back to back labour with my first most of my contractions were in my back with a shooting pain into my bum like I was being stabbed with a poker.
