Hi everyone! I’m 38 weeks pregnant with my first baby (a girl!!) just wondering what everyone’s experiences were (If any)with pre labour symptoms? Did anyone have some aches and pains couple weeks before going into labour or did it just happen all of a sudden? I’ve been getting getting period pain cramps/lower back ache pain and little contractions which come end go but also shooting pains ‘down there’ which kinda go all the way down my groin and legs....just wondering if anyone had similar symptoms before going into labour! Thank you!! :)

I had pains and cramps for about 6 weeks before labour started. Started loosing my mucus plug 4 weeks before labour. It was all very start and stop but the day I went into labour it was continued period pains that started and stopped in a pattern. Everything before had no pattern if that makes sense.

@LG101 yes that makes sense! I’ve been having these pains for the past 2 weeks and they seem to be getting stronger ...waiting for things to actually progress but I guess could be at least another 2 weeks!!

I'm due on Tuesday and been getting this for 3 weeks I didn't get any of this with my son.

Sooo fed up now ☹️

Aw @ilovethecold I bet!! It’s pretty annoying and painful especially when you just want things to get going!! I hope your baby decides to make an appearance ASAP!
