Got my bfp five days ago💜
Have my first midwife appointment this week coming up, quite excited but nervous!
I keep thinking something will go wrong.

I think I'm around 5 weeks and a few days. Is anyone else around this time?

Thought it would be nice to have a thread and go through all the days, weeks and months together! Update on how we're feeling each day and how it's all going! DaffodilDaffodil

Hi @FlowerPot00

Congratulations! I got my first positive yesterday which makes me about 4 weeks I think. No idea what I should do now - sounds like I best contact my GP in the next couple of weeks & book to see the midwife! It all feels very early & I'm quite anxious that something will go wrong (although trying to remain positive!). I'll definitely be going for a private scan in a few weeks time, I won't be able to wait until the new year!

How have you been feeling? Daffodil

FlowerPot00 · 14/11/2020 15:50

@MillyJS thank you! And you!
Yeah that's what I did. I rang and she booked me in straight away.
I feel the same. I am trying to remain positive too!
Same here. I will want the reassurance of an early scan in a few weeks to see how it's going and how far along I am exact.

I've been feeling okay! Sore breasts though! Not sure if I have just had heart burn or not 😅
Needing to wee more often!
How about you?

Hi @FlowerPot00 and @MillyJS

I'm also between 4-6 weeks calculating from the three possible conception dates lol. I didn't have much of a missed period so I won't be sure until I go for a scan.

I had to self-refer through the NHS website and just waiting for them to send me appointment letters. I'm so anxious this time, after two healthy pregnancies and babies, I had my first miscarriage at three months beginning of October so fell pregnant probably 2-3 weeks after!

Symptoms atm are serious mood swings, back pain and sore boobs. I've put on a bit as well x

FlowerPot00 · 14/11/2020 16:55

Hiya! @imsxdes
Congratulations 👏
I am so sorry to hear that and I hope this pregnancy goes the whole way through with no complications ❤️
Maybe you too can get an early scan to re assure yourself!

Yep! Isn't it wonderful. With my first child I had no symptoms, nothing, but with this one it seems it's trying to make it as obvious as possible to my body!

Hi @imsxdes

So sorry to hear about your loss, must be a really worrying time Daffodil

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Hopefully after an early scan you can relax a little & put your mind at rest.

This is my first, only symptoms so far are sore boobs (no more than they would be during my period anyway) & cramping more than normal, especially when I get up from laying down. My mood swings last week we're INSANE but I had no idea why, thought I was going a bit mad! Haha.

Keep us updated with how you're getting on Smile

imsxdes · 16/11/2020 13:21

Thank you girls ❤️

Congratulations to you both too, @MillyJS you must be so excited for your first pregnancy!

@FlowerPot00 how old is your first one? I've got a 4 and 5 year old two boys (absolutely wild). I managed to arrange an early scan referral this morning, already feeling so much better.

How are you both lately? I've started having food aversions but no cravings just yet. Mood swings and the rest of it is still coming full force 😂🤯

MillyJS · 16/11/2020 13:51

@imsxdes Thank you! Very excited & also very anxious as I have no idea what I'm doing! 😂

Glad to hear you've got an early scan referral, how far along will you be? I couldn't help myself & booked a private scan for mid December, otherwise I'd be waiting until January which feels like a lifetime away!

My symptoms are the same although I had a wave of nausea this morning. I've got to go into the office this week (been working from home since the first lockdown) so slightly terrified I'll feel ill at work & someone will notice 😕

imsxdes · 19/12/2020 03:55

Hi @MillyJS , how was your scan doll?

I was 6 weeks when I booked a private scan and then shortly after NHS offered an early scan for the following week! So far so good, touch wood

How are you getting on? I've not had crazy cravings as such, every now and then I fancy fruits and something sour but for the most part I've gone off food and forget to even eat sometimes

@FlowerPot00 how're you doing girl? Hope you're both getting along well x

FlowerPot00 · 19/12/2020 13:33

Good thank you! How about you? @imsxdes
I have my scan this Tuesday. Am nervous and excited 😆 xx

Hi @imsxdes Scan went well thank you. I was really anxious but everything was fine & measuring to the dates I had. I couldn't believe the baby had arms & legs at 9 weeks & was wriggling around!

How have you been feeling? Weeks 6-9 were really rough for me but I feel a bit better now I'm more into week 9.

Hope you're all doing ok!

imsxdes · 24/12/2020 00:44

Aww I'm so happy for you @MillyJS what's your estimated due date?

@FlowerPot00 hope your scan went well! I had a scan today too, they're guessing I'm around the 12 week mark but they couldn't give me exact measurements cause baby was positioned head down and then wouldn't stop moving 😩

Most of first trimester was exhausting, I'm so grateful my energy is finally coming back! X

MillyJS · 24/12/2020 09:12

Thanks @imsxdes you too! Glad to hear your scan went well. I'm not due until late July so a couple of weeks behind you I think.

I had an early scan as patience really isn't my thing 😂 Still don't have the date for my 12 week NHS one so I'm glad I booked the private one!

Also very happy to hear you feel a bit more normal now, I'm almost 10 weeks & have been feeling awful for the past 5. I seem to be getting maybe a tiny bit better every day, fingers' crossed I can stomach my Christmas dinner 🙈
