Thank you gift to midwife?

I was amazingly lucky to have my community midwife deliver my baby in hospital last week.

This means I’ve developed more of a relationship with her than most. She’s been wonderful, so I want to say thank you somehow, but am unsure what’s appropriate?

I’m particularly keen to hear from any Midwives, as to what cards/gifts are welcome or acceptable? I guess there’s an added COVID element to consider too....

I’m seeing her for my final appointment this week so if anyone has suggestions please let me know Smile

Sister is a midwife says its nice when they are thanked personally in a compliment letter/email.

Also said has received marks and Spencer goodies/£10 gift cards - gift cards are declared and go towards treats for the full team

Coffee shop gift cards! I'm sure will be appreciated ☕️

I bought mine a large box of nice chocolates - I figured she could either eat them herself or share them with her team!

Cup/bowl/lunch box for work always goes down well.
Nice tea & coffee would be really useful.

Chocolate is always a winner in the health profession, or maybe some nice handcreams as hand sanitizer drys ur hands out. Also a named letter or email /card is a lovely way to say thank you also helps with cpd

A personal thank you card and an email to her team lead/matron/Head of Midwifery mean the most. If you have a picture of her with your baby, that framed is lovely.

A personalised mug is a nice gift too.
