Hello

I stopped eating meat a couple of months back. But since ive been pregnant all i can think about is meat. I dont know whether its my iron levels because ive not had my results back from midwife. Im also craving crunchy things not ice but like wanting onions with my food or wanting to add crunchy things to salads.but im taking an iron supplement every other day the active pregnancy ones. Anyone else had this?

Hey I'm 23 weeks and I had this in the early days!

My iron levels came back fine despite a specific want for red meat. I would also add crisps in sandwiches etc.

It's sort of past now but I have had really obvious consistent cravings just if I fancy something then I want it.

Just one of those things I think. Enjoy!

I'm currently eating 5kg of raw carrots every week so I get the crunchy thing. Iceberg lettuce is another fave.

I wanted meat when I was pregnant with my DS. But not when pregnant with my DDs.

I had the crunch craving in my first pregnancy, I ate a lot of sugar snap peas Grin

Better than wanting junk food I suppose, like this time around for me.
