7+1. Today I have eaten:

Two slices of dry toast
2 Weetabix with milk & sugar
3 slices of white bread with butter (amazing loaf with marmite and cheese baked in but that's not the point)
2 packets of instant noodles

(Spread throughout the day not all at once!)

I feel like I'm going to be the size of a house if I carry on like this.

What have you eaten today??

So much more than you!

Two slices of toast with marmite and butter.
Two oatcakes
A scone.
Baked potato with cheese and coleslaw
Cup a soup and two slices of bread
Two more slices of toast with butter and marmite

I’m 10 wks - I’ve eaten like this in the first tri of my 3 previous pregnancies. It all evens out later on and although I’ve had a bit of weight to lose each time it’s come off without too much difficulty. I usually eat a pretty healthy diet but I can’t stomach most fruit and veg at the moment and I have to eat almost constantly to stave off the nausea.

I found that carbs were settling when I felt rough when pregnant.
Go with what your body asks for!

I'm loving carbs right now too and thinking oh my god I'm going to be the size of a house by the end!

Today I've had:

-Two slices of toast with butter and marmite

  • Two rolls with cheese and pickle
  • About half a tube of pringles
  • Soup for dinner (too lazy to cook)
  • Museli with yoghurt, bananas and honey
  • A snickers bar

Will probably go and eat the other half of the pringles now I'm thinking about it Grin

I do agree, the bland carby food makes me feel sooo much better with the nausea I've had.

16 weeks and still can't step away from the carbs -

  • museli with nuts (lost this within 15 mins of eating it)
  • a bowl of instant mash with butter
  • a bagel with Philadelphia and cucumber
  • chips and mushy peas with a curry roll
  • shredded wheat

This was one of my worse days. But it's generally bread, potato and cereal that I can reliably eat.

@readyforroundtwo At least you ate a banana!

KinderWild · 13/11/2020 23:30

@Moo678 that's what I was thinking! And @adogisforlife91 very interested in your loaf with cheese and marmite baked in Grin

readyforroundtwo · 14/11/2020 00:17

@Moo678 this is true Grin

peachypetite · 14/11/2020 08:12

All I could stomach until week 17 was beige and fruit.

@KinderWild if you happen to be in South Herts you can get it at Darvell's bakery and quite a few farm shops in the area. Honestly its amazing! With a nice thick layer of real butter.....dashes to kitchen Grin
