Nipples Leaking!

So my right nipple has been leaking a clear fluid for weeks now (which I’m not concerned about I know that’s normal) but the last couple of times I’ve had a bath I’ve noticed a tiny bit of orange discharge from my left nipple and weirdly it only comes out when I’m in the bath, I’m assuming it’s colostrum is it the warmth from the water that causes it to leak?

I’m only 24 weeks should I be getting colostrum at this stage?

I had this around the same time as you and was told it's fine
At 34 weeks I was told to harvest colostrum, was told to try after a bath or with hot compress so I guess the heat helps

@GAW19 I thought it may have been the warm water because my right boob leaks all the time but when I’m in the bath it really gets going, hoping this means I’ll have a good supply fingers crossed

I am 18 weeks and started leaking at 16 weeks - I did with my son too. So I would say it’s normal 😊

I can’t remember how many weeks from now (I think from full term) but you will be able to start expressing colostrum and catching it in little syringes (your midwife can give you some) then take it with you when you give birth - you may not need it but it can be very helpful to have if baby has trouble feeding at the start/you’re ill/you don’t want to breastfeed x
