I'm doing a 48hr finger prick test as even though my GTT came back normal the hospital have changed their policy and anyone who has had gastric surgery should do the finger prick test instead.

My readings today have all been in the normal range so I'm not concerned about that, more that it's an unusual pattern.

Yesterday afternoon when I was being shown how to do it it was 4.0 so they said just on the cusp of being too low, but I hadn't eaten for about 4 hours.

These are my readings today, is it anything to worry about that my fasting one was higher than yesterday afternoon and after lunch? And that my after lunch one was lower than the before lunch one? It doesn't make sense to me
