Pram/Travel Systems

I am looking for recommendations on the best travel systems/pram/pushchairs.

I have severe back issues but I am looking to strengthen that area as much as possible with walks with the baby and my dogs when the time comes.

Can anyone suggest any travel systems or pushchairs that have the following please?

Suitable from Birth to 3
One handed fold
Lightweight chassis
Parent & World facing
Sturdy wheels for all terrain

We have access to some rotating car seats so it doesn't have to be a full travel system but I think we may be easier getting a travel system that is suitable from birth?

I don't know if I am asking too much!

Thanks

We got the Mountain Buggy Swift - haven't used it yet as baby not yet arrived. It has a one handed fold, very sturdy air filled tires and is 9kg or so. You can put on a carseat (parent facing) and there's a carrycot that also converts to a parent facing seat.

I found the air filled/sturdy wheels for all terrain was the trickiest thing to find in a one handed fold pram.

I also had heavily recommended the city jogger city mini gt but that's not parent facing.

I've just had a look at the Mountain Buggy. It looks perfect. Thanks for the tip. Hope all goes well for you when your baby arrives Smile

We have bought the mamas and papas flip. We got the whole set so have pushchair that is forward and parent facing, carrycot, infant car seat which clips on and seat base, footmuff, rain cover and really nice changing bag. I didn’t want something heavy to lift or complicated to put up/fold down and my boot not too big so it needed to be compact. The lady in store let my partner have a go at folding it up/down and lifting it and since it’s delivered I’ve tried it too and love it. The wheels also clip off for washing too.

Hi,

I was a bit of a pramaholic with my first and had over 40 pushchairs 🙈

I see someone has mentioned the MB swift above abs I agree with that.

I have the mountain buggy urban jungle (slightly bigger than the swift) and love that it is all terrain, parent faces with the carrycot plus, decent basket and the one hand fold is magic!

My 3yo still happily sits in it and it’s so easy to push even now (we walk everywhere and he can’t always manage the distance)

He’s getting carted out of it when baby 2 comes in April, and we’ve bought him the free rider which is a scooter for him, that then clips to the pram as a buggy board - genius!

We have a lot of MB products (also had the nano), and we have the juno carrier, fantastic quality products.

We also went with the Mamas and Papas Flip XT2. It’s an older model so was very reasonable and got the car seat and Isofix base with it. The main thing that swerved it for us was the fact it fits in the boot of my C1 but is still robust looking. Haven’t actually used it yet as baby is due next month but very pleased so far.

MrsG30 wow 40 prams! Did you use all of them? I think the mountain buggy range does look really good. I've also been looking at the Baby Jogger Premier. I never knew buying a pram could feel so overwhelming Shock

@pinklillie yes we got it in the summer from Mamas and Papas but they price matched it to the offer on Precious Little One website too. Just meant we got the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix car seat instead of the Cybex Aton because we price matched. Both websites say they have them in stock.
