Belly feels like it is going to explode

I know this might sound a bit strange but I have been SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE the past week.

I am currently 28+2 weeks pregnant and my belly feels as if it is going to explode!!!

This is my second pregnancy and I have been gaining weight at practically the same rate as my first, and never felt like this with my DS.

It happens mainly after I eat a meal, any size meal, big or small. My belly just feels as if it is stretched out to the max and I can barely sit or stand without having to adjust every 2 minutes. It feels tight and hard as if I am purposely sticking out my stomach (which I am not)

Has this happened to any mums out there? Is this normal? What do you suggest to help with the discomfort? Is it the position the baby is in?

I feel like I have so much more time to go in my pregnancy and my little baby still has some more growing to do in there.

I just hope this feeling doesn't stay for the remainder of my pregnancy

Any suggestions or thoughts will be helpful! Thank you all Smile

I get this more with this pregnancy than previous ones (this will be DC4)
I'm not sure why but I do have an anterior placenta this time so wonder if it is something to do with that? My MW also said Braxton hicks get worse with each pregnancy which I am definitely finding which adds to the tight, 'I'm going to explode' feeling.
