I am currently 14 weeks pregnant, I’ve had three scans already so I know baby is healthy however last night I went to the toilet and when i wiped there was blood, it was only about the size of a pound coin and after that there was no more, should I be worried?

@DnXxx
Call your midwife to seek proper advice. Good luck.

I’ve tried contacting her, she hasn’t responded yet it’s been since last night😕 but thank you!

@DnXxx
Is there any other reason you could bleed (without jumping to a bad conclusion!) like sex, an awkward turn/stretch? Thrush cream?
At 14 weeks, blood the size of a pound coin isn't a lot, especially when this is followed by nothing else. Try not to worry and just monitor it over the next few days x

Don't assume the worst. I bled a few times after we had sex in weeks 12-14 and that was really scary. All I could do was keep an eye on it and it usually was very light and cleared up. If it's stopped for you too, it's likely your midwife will say the same.

It may of been an awkward stretch/turn as I was in bed and do get quite fidgety aha! Other than that I can’t think of what else it could be, I didn’t have sex and I don’t use thrush cream either. I’m not too worried as i have no pain or continuous bleeding, thank you! Xx
