I'm having a c section and don't want to be bending can I put the next to me on the highest leaves and just heave it standing next to my bed

Presumably you mean with the side zipped up? If so it would be safe.

Their mattress should be the same height as your mattress if the cot is unzipped. There should be no gap between your bed and the cot.
