Clear blue weeks indicator experiences?

Hey girls. I am 6 weeks and 4 days according to my lmp but I know I ovulated later which would put me at about 6 weeks by my guess.

Anyway, I took a notion this evening and took a cb weeks indicator. The last time I took one of these it was when I found out and I was 6 days late for my period and it said 1-2. Which leads me to believe I may be a little behind. That was about 10 days ago.

My urine was quite clear as I had drank a bit today and it said 2-3 weeks and now I'm panicking as this would make me only 4-5 weeks or else something may be wrong.

Has anyone had this experience, would it be reasonable for me to assume it could be because of the diluted urine. I've been feeling really anxious since 😞 I was really expecting it to say 3+.

I would love some reassuring as I'm an anxious wreck!

They’re not very accurate. If you’re urine is diluted you can’t expect them to be accurate anyway. Once you’ve got your positive it’s best to stay away from the tests as they cause more stress. Some people never get the 3+ and go on to have healthy pregnancies. It’s a bit of a gimmick

Ya I wish I never took it now tbh. I just find the waiting for the scan so difficult, I wish I could relax more.

Do you think I should buy another to take in a few days or should I just stay completely away. Its hard to know what to do. 😞

No, stop testing.

A positive is a positive. These are not accurate for measuring hcg volume in the same way a blood test would be. I'd stop testing. If you want, perhaps book an early scan, but don't go any earlier than 8 weeks minimum. By 8 weeks you will be able to see a baby and heart beat. Before then it's too hit and miss with early scans and you can go down rabbit holes with sacs and heart beats etc. Good luck.

I’d recommend an early scan. I had one at 8 weeks and saw a heartbeat and baby looked like a little jelly bean. It was lovely as my partner could come in with me where he couldn’t come to the 12 week scan

@kirsty0028 I'm so glad I found this thread. I'm 6+3 by LMP and this is my first at 36 and I am so worried something will go wrong. It doesn't help that I don't have symptoms yet. My clear blue read as 2-3 weeks on 3rd November, fantastic this was up from 1-2 weeks the week before. Today, 12 days later it's still at 2-3 weeks. I'm paying for an early scan in 10 days at 7+6 to put myself out my misery.

These tests are shite. Honestly there’s so many threads on them. I never got 3+ weeks and panicked.. now 14 weeks pregnant. Honestly don’t waste your money x

I took my first one two days ago at around 12pm. I just peed on it 😂 & it said 2-3. Then I took two more today, but peed in a plastic cup. The first one I dipped in my urine & didn’t leave it in for too long. Then I left the other one in a little longer & even stirred it around a little. That once came back first with 2-3 weeks, & the other said 1-2 weeks lol & that was from the same urine sample. So I think it all depends on how much urine is on the stick & also how diluted you are, & the time of day. Don’t take what the test says as accurate. I know my contraception date, so technically I am just over 3 weeks. But they class it at 5 weeks tomorrow going off the first day of my last period.

Congrats, btw, & best of luck!

I have to admit they have accurately predicted all 5 of my miscarriages - either it took longer than a week to move from 2-3 weeks to 3+ or I didn't get a 3+ by 5 weeks or they went down a level

They only time they were "wrong" were with my ectopic pregnancies
